In a tour de force performance, Lea Myren stars in the film, THE UGLY STEPSISTER, which made its World Premiere at Sundance and most recently, its European debut at Berlinale. The film is a reimagining of the Brothers’ Grimm version of CINDERELLA through the eyes of the stepsister, and much like THE SUBSTANCE, is a commentary on women’s impossible standards of beauty and the lengths that they go through to achieve them. Lea is a rising star out of the Norwegian market and recently gained critical attention starring in the popular series, KIDS IN CRIME. Lea trained at the world renowned l’Ecole Jacques Lecoq in Paris and currently lives in Oslo, Norway.
